Children Health – A healthy lifestyle is a
lifestyle that must be instilled early on to our children. As parents, we must
encourage our children to always maintain good health. Cleanliness must be
implanted in the child in order to become a habit later. But teaching children
about hygiene is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. The learning
process should be carried out continuously with examples of the behavior of
parents and the surrounding environment.
The first step that you can do is teach your
children about how to maintain the cleanliness of their body. For example by
familiarizing children to wash hands before eating, wash the feet before bed,
brush the teeth and bathing at least twice a day. By doing these simple things,
your children will realize that keep the cleanness of the body is very
important for their health.
In addition, you should also teach your
children to maintain the cleanliness of the environment. Children need to be
given an explanation of why they need to keep the environment clean. Encourage
your children to clean up the environment around the house, planting trees, and
other cleaning activities. You need to invite them to do various activities
regularly together with you, such as once a week.
You can also ask your children to exercise
regularly. For example every Saturday or Sunday you ask your children to run
around your living environment. Playing badminton, swimming, basketball, or
other sports you can do with your children together.
Next, teach them to eat healthy foods. Healthy
food does not have to be expensive. Most important is the food contains a wide
variety of nutrients required for the growth of the child's body. By consuming
carbohydrates, fat, protein, fiber, and vitamins are balanced, then your health
and your child will be assured.
